Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Los Angeles is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

You might be skeptical when you see so many 5 star ratings, but it is well deserved. Everything about the restaurant was on point. It is an intimate experience with limited seating, but the quality and care given to every aspect of the dining experience is truly noticable. One of the most noticable thing was the option for a tea pairing. All of the teas chosen had unique subtle notes and had a wide range, including both hot and cold teas. On this night in particular, we had even a last minute menu replacement. Even though we would have loved the baby corn, the replacement maintained the flow and quality of the meal. It showcases a true testimony for the chefs and how they able to maintain quality in the face last minute obstacles. If you are looking for a nice night out, I highly recommend Mori Nozomi.

Just go here. They are amazing. Best omakase sushi in LA. The concept is fantastic, service is even better, and they genuinely understand what makes sushi good. Honest criticism: The tamago was a bit subpar against how amazing the rest was. Secondly some may be off put by the slightly cold lighting, yet I think they are wrong in such an assessment. Sure it isn’t perfect for Instagram but it highlights the food better.

the omakase sushi experience here was magical. the whole all-women team worked together with symphonic perfection. each dish, as well as the progression through the 25 course meal, was balanced, delicious, and well thought out. the tea pairing with certain courses was so unique -- one tea was a very rare and special second-pick tea, which had a lovely smooth but assertive flavor. and the chilled black tea was deliciously floral. we not only enjoyed remote and local ingredients, but learned a lot along the way. reservations required, and it books up quickly. huge thanks to Chef Nozomi and the team πŸ™

A true experience, amazing staff, Chef is truly magical. We came to LA for a concert and was fortunate enough to be able to get a reservation several weeks before coming to LA. Highly recommend the Tea pairing.

My experience at Mori Nozomi was the most fun I’ve ever had eating sushi. Chef is so friendly and fun! The courses are the best I’ve had and each staff member was so attentive. We left feeling like family!
